Get a provisional driving licence
Apply online here for your provisional licence with the DVLA. The cost is currently £34 to £43
Reading a number plate from 20 metres away is a must.

Contact A Pass 4 U and book those driving lessons
Get to know the vehicle safety questions
Use books and software to prepare for your theory test.
Know your highway code and the essential skills. These make up the multiple test questions

Step 4
Book and manage your theory test
Be guided by your Driving Instructor. He will let you know when he thinks you are ready.
Book your theory test. The cost is currently £23
Make sure you are prepared fully.

Book and manage your driving test
Book Your Driving Test. The cost is currently £62 to £75
Step 6
When you pass
Freedom! You can start driving independently as soon as you pass your driving test!
Make sure you are fully insured.
The insurance must be for you to drive unsupervised.
