Driving courses are available in Canterbury with our expert one week driving course expert instructors. We recently asked one of the A Pass 4 U course instructors about Canterbury and he gave us a few details.
Canterbury driving test centre currently only has 2 examiners currently, we sometimes have others filling in to help on the odd occasions but hopefully this will be changing with the DVSA recruitment campaign.
The test centre is located next to a college so it can get busy getting in and out of the car park, the test centre is very small as only had 4 bays for cars to park so if a driving test candidate gets a bay park manoeuvre it is likely that it will be in a third part car park.
When leaving the test centre if you turn left your are generally heading towards the dual carriageway and if turning right, you are heading towards the city which heads you towards 3 large roundabouts which in a short distance of each other but given plenty of time to practice they should not cause any problems. As at all test centre the Canterbury DTC conducts all 4 manoeuvres including,
Parallel Park
Reverse into a bay
Reverse out of a bay
The pull up on the right exercise
As always the result of the test at the Canterbury driving test centre is given in the car at the end of the test when the car is secure and turned off, as always the driving instructor can listen to the debrief to ensure the pupil understands what the result is and more importantly why.
